Alley Cats Mobile Veterinary Services is proud to serve North San Diego County and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.

We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own cat, and giving them the same loving attention and care. We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible.

Comprehensive Physical Exams

Here at Alley Cats Mobile Veterinary Services, we are proud to offer comprehensive physical examinations for all life stages: kitten, adult, mature, and geriatric cats.

It is very important to make sure that your cat has routine complete physical examinations. Our staff will get a chance to talk to you and see if you are having any trouble with your pet. We will also go over diet, preventative medicine, and exercise to ensure that your pet is as healthy as possible.

Dr. Marchant will do a complete physical examination on your cat. It is always good to have a baseline in case your cat ever becomes ill. We also want to monitor your cat’s weight, ensuring that he/she stays a healthy weight. It is much easier to start a diet when a cat is a pound overweight instead of fifteen!

Acupuncture & Laser Therapy

Acupuncture
More people are looking for homeopathic remedies to solve their health problems. They see results, so many have started looking into the same remedies for their cats. For this reason, we are glad to be able to offer this service to those who are interested.

Acupuncture is one of our most commonly asked about treatments. It is quite helpful for cats that are in pain, even helping with cancer pain and osteoarthritis. It can also help our furry friends with a number of other problems including vomiting, endocrine disorders, and much more.

Many owners worry their cats will not tolerate acupuncture, but it is simple and usually enjoyable for them. They learn to love the interaction and experience.

If you are wondering if acupuncture could help your pets, don’t hesitate to ask your veterinarian. It does not hurt to try it out to see if it will make a difference.

Laser Therapy
We are always learning new and better ways to treat our patients. We also are dedicated to using the latest veterinary technologies. One way we do this is by providing laser therapy for our patients.

Laser therapy is a state-of-the-art alternative therapy to assist with pain and healing. It can be used after surgeries to help increase blood flow to local areas, improving healing. For this same reason, it is also helpful for wound healing. Cold laser therapy can also be used for chronic pain, helping to increase blood flow to those areas. We have also seen great success in using this therapy for patients with kidney failure.

Hospice

Saying goodbye to your cat can be extremely difficult. The process can be emotionally and mentally draining. We don’t want you to be alone at the end stages of your furry friend’s life, and we promise to do everything we can to make it easier on you and your pet. Most of all, we promise to treat each case with compassionate and understanding care.

Knowing when the time is right can be a difficult choice. There are many factors that go into deciding to euthanize a cat, and it is a personal issue that differs from pet owner to pet owner. But every pet owner is inevitably faced with making that tough decision, and we want to be there alongside you to aid in any way we can.
