string(709) "Flyball is a relay race for dogs. Two 4 dog teams compete against each other for the best time. The 51 ft. raceway consists of a start line, a 6ft. space, 4 jumps spaced 10 ft. apart, and a spring loaded box (machine) which is located 15 ft. after the last jump. Drag strip style lights initiate the race, as the first dog crosses the start line. As soon as the dog finishes the four jumps, it triggers the box, catches the ball, and returns over the four jumps. As it crosses the finish line, the second dog is released. The first team to have all 4 dogs successfully complete the raceway wins the heat. Errors such as dropping the ball, missing a jump, or passing early will require the dog to re-run.

Our Methods
Ben’s official title is Professional Dog Trainer but truly he’s more of a dog problem solver. He enters your home, assesses the situation then fixes any and all concerns you have with your dog.
In most cases your dog's behavior issue has a simple solution and you will see the results you are looking for within the first session. Ben believes there is NO such thing as a lost cause. He works with many local rescues and he can help you, too.
Ben has been training dogs (and their owners) for over 15 years, successfully rehabilitating dogs with many behavior issues and he has the ability to provide quick and easy solutions.
More About Ben
"Growing up, my family had five dogs. As far back as I can remember, I was playing with the dogs and watching how they interacted with each other and people. I began watching dog shows and learning about different breeds. During this time I grew to love the relationship between a boy and his dog. I learned it was truly a relationship of love, respect, and trust. This was the purest relationship I had experienced. I learned that dogs are more than just dogs. They are companions that can give you a rewarding, fulfilling life. They are there when you are sad, they are there when you are happy, they know when to give you space, and know exactly when not to. I have learned that they have a very different way of communicating. Over the years, and all the time I have spent with dogs, I learned to read and understand them, which gives me the ability to communicate what is being said or not being said in every situation. My job is to observe what is happening with your dog, and translate exactly what they are trying to tell you with their behavior in any given situation. Just imagine how peaceful your life could be with a pet that understands your direction and commands. The reason you don’t have this relationship now is because you are trying to communicate with a being that does not even speak the same language as you. My goal is to make sure quality of life for you and your family, fur babies included, is the best it can be and to keep dogs from going to the shelters simply because of language barriers. I started training so I could educate and rehabilitate owners and their pets making life better one lesson at a time.""

The 51 ft. raceway consists of a start line, a 6ft. space, 4 jumps spaced 10 ft. apart, and a spring loaded box (machine) which is located 15 ft. after the last jump.
